Workshops, Trainings, Experiential Learning
JTC Experiences is available to create custom workshops and trainings focused on civil and human rights history. Through our experiential learning model, we help bring history to life in ways that inspire deeper understanding, meaningful reflection, and new possibilities for action.
Our workshops have included two-day experiences that combine classroom learning with immersive history-based walking tours, allowing participants to engage with history in both thoughtful and memorable ways. Past programs have explored topics such as Civil Rights History in Harlem, the Harlem Renaissance, Labor History in New York, and the Immigration Experience.
We are especially eager to share this model with teachers, educators, and professionals who are looking for dynamic learning opportunities that can spark inspiration and translate into new ideas for students, communities, and organizations.
